You're warmly welcomed to join us under the trees to discover the joys of working with wood. You can learn new skills working with traditional tools and techniques. Open to beginners and experienced crafters. On this five day course you will learn to make your own armchair. The science of chairmaking and what makes a chair comfortable will be explained and applied throughout the build. When broken down to the individual parts, Chairmaking is less complicated than you might think. With the opportunity to learn about shaping fitting each part to make up a chair that will stand out in any home. Each day runs from 0930 until 1600 Terms and conditions All woodwork courses require a minimum of four weeks in writing (email) to cancel or reschedule and the course cost will be refunded.
